Nutritional care and the provision of nutritional support therapy are key to patient health care. Providing adequate nutritional support as part of the continuum of care for diseases aims to optimize therapeutic outcomes, reduce morbidity, improve quality of life and ultimately reduce mortality.
NutriHope Fibre is a complete hyperproteic nutritional powder to be reconstituted with safe water to obtain a Moderate Energy (ME = 1.25 kcal / ml) or a High Energy (HE = 1.5 kcal / ml) final solution. It is intended for enteral tube and/or oral feeding of adult patients with or at risk of disease-related malnutrition.
NutriHope solution can be used for a variety of diseases and conditions where nutritional support is warranted, for exclusive or partial feeding of patients with limited or impaired capacity to ingest, digest, absorb or metabolize ordinary foodstuffs, or who, for medical reasons, have other special nutrient requirements. Therefore, NutriHope Fibre can be used for wellnourished patients (e.g. comatose patients who are at risk of malnutrition due to an impaired capacity to take food orally) and/or patients whose critical condition (burns, surgery, trauma, etc.) results in increased nutritional requirements.
NutriHope Fibre contains fibre, is lactose and gluten-free, is halal-certified and has a vanilla flavour.
