Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Tony, I'm 33 years old. I arrived at Nutriset as a temporary worker in 2013. My managers quickly trusted me by offering me a line conductor position on the white peanuts toasting process and then entrusting me with the management of the process. For the past three years I have worked as process conductor.
What is your daily life as a process conductor?
The job of a process conductor is to continuously feed the packaging lines with product. My daily routine is about supplying the manufacturing process with raw materials, ensuring the proper functioning of the line, respecting and complying with the health and safety instructions and controlling the quality of the product using our specialized tools. Having recieved a diploma certifying my professional expertise as a line driver (Certificate of Professional Qualification) has allowed me to increase my knowledge and to execute my tasks with even more precision.
Your most memorable moment at Nutriset?
That would be the moment when I returned to the company. Indeed, I had worked at Nutriset in 2006 and 2007 during holidays when I was still a student. In 2013, when I came back to work as a full time staff, I was very impressed to see the expansion of the company in a matter of a few years, the changes in the building, the equipment and so on.
Where would you see yourself in 10 years?
Nutriset is a company that is growing and evolving constantly. In 10 years I have no doubt that new jobs will be created to meet the demand. So why not use my experience to try to evolve as well?
